With a self-diagnosed addiction to my laptop, I don’t know how I lasted a whole month without the use of the tool of my entire existence. What happened to it? Long story short: keyboard unresponsive, it kept restarting before fully loading up the OS, sent it into the Apple Store, they tried repairing things, then eventually just replaced the whole laptop. That’s right. I got an upgrade from a first-generation 15” MacBook Pro to the latest model at zero dollars. Not a dime spent during the whole process.

Things I did while laptop-less:

• read books
• did school work
• cleaned my room (finally)
• read more books
• stole the roommate’s laptop
• watched tv
• watched movies
• read more books
• did more school work

Now that I have a laptop again, I can do more of everything, as well as mindlessly surf the internet. Oh, laptop … how I have miss you.
